A leisure cycling adventure expedition in the glorious state of Rajasthan. Discovering and understanding the lifestyle of culturally opulent people of Rajasthan.

Jodhpur : Fly to the city of Jodhpur, and notice a striking similarity in the large number of houses being painted in the color of the sky. Upon watching from the sky the city shams the sky up above for its color blue. Take a guided tour of the old walled city, stroll in the vibrant narrow streets and discover the texture of life that is remarkably exceptional.
Ride your bike to a village belonging to the Bishnoi community (worshipers of trees and animals). Bishnoi people are also known as the protectors of the wild animals like deer and antelopes grazing in their fields irrespective of the fact that the geographical area faces severe water shortages.
The people are also very friendly hosts and are proud to teach you their lifestyle activities like crafts and skills with you.

Sardar Samand Lake : Once an abode for the royal family built in 1933 by Maharaja Umaid Singh as a hunting lodge. Set in the low lying aravalli hills surrounded by the Sardar Samand Lake.
Get a chance to visit a village just 5 kilometers off the palace to a settlement of people still living on barter economy and boast of their unique social structure without any hierarchy.

Narlai : The tine hamlet that is narlai, is an epicenter to various ancient Hindu and Jain temples most importantly the temple of adinath and lord shiva. Enjoy your royal stay at Rawla Narlai, a 17th century hunting lodge(now a hotel).

Ranakpur : A fifteenth century pilgrimage of the Jain religion famous for the temple of the Adinath built in that era. One can be mesmerized by the large number of pillars with religious scriptures inscribed on them. Although it is impossible to count the pillars, it is said to have 1444 pillars here.

Arrive by flight at Jodhpur, followed by introduction with the tour captain and check in at the hotel.
Take a guided tour of the city and experience the grandeur of the glorious city.

Ride : 25km cycling Distance
Ride 25km to a nearby Bishnoi Village discovering the ways of the wildlife preaching community. Also a chance to take a keen look into their handiwork, arts and crafts.
A Visit to Mehrangarh Fort built in 15th Century. Heading towards an old Haveli, now functioning as a restaurant.
Ride : 60km cycling Distance
Start early to ride through mustard and millet fields to reach your hotel the Sardar Samand Palace, A hunting lodge from the past built in 1933.
A visit to a nearby village whose residents still live on the barter system.
Spend rest of the day relaxing by the pool reading about the hunting exploits of the maharaja.
Ride : 60km cycling Distance
Ride towards narlai with a short halt at Pali, a very old trading town from the medieval period. We ride for the next sixty kilometers near the town of Bariya and then we drive towards our royal abode for the Night, Rawla Narlai.
At Narlai enjoy your stay at Rawla Narlai, a beautiful 17th century mansion. Rawla has enjoyed patronage from their esteemed guest list in the past Mick Jagger and Francesco Clement to name a few.
Ride : 60 km Cycling Distance
We ride our chartered bus/car for the first twenty kilometers to save you from the bumpy road. Ride through the valley of Dhonk(Dry thorny bushes) the road is a flat one which is hardly any challenge for cycling. Then the group starts riding towards Kumbalgarh, another magnificent fort from the 15th century, and later check into your hotel for the night.
Ride : 50km Cycling Distance
The fifty kilometers bike ride to Ranakpur takes you to one of the most important Jain religious sites in India. Be awestruck with this 15th Century Temple, there are 1444 pillars supporting the structure each carved with stone with religious verses written on them.

Ride your bikes to the City of lakes, Udaipur passing through the magnificent Aravali range. This part of the ride is a strenuous one with the terrain being mostly uphill. Arrive Upaipur by noon and check into your hotel. You have a chance to go out and explore the traditional markets.
After a quick breakfast we ride to the magnificent Monsoon Palace, it is the palatial residence of the Maharaja on top of a beautiful mountain. Later we walk to the Udaipur City Palace which is built on the banks of the Lake Pichola. Take a boat ride to the Jagmandir Palace and drive back to our heritage hotel for the night stay.
This is the last day of this vibrant journey, we bid farewell to the mighty forts, scenic Aravalli ranges and especially the colorful people of Rajasthan. A member of the support team shall drop you at the Udaipur airport for your flight to Delhi or Mumbai.

As this lovely time spent on our bicycles ends here, we part ways with a souvenir for you to show your friends back home when you share your Rajasthan memoirs.

5 Kumbalgarh The Aodhi Hidden by trees, besides the hills crowned by the ruggedly majestic Kumbhalgarh Fort, nestles The Aodhi, a sanctuary-resort where the legacy of valorous kings of Mewar and their braves still lives.
6 Ranakpur Ranakpur Hill Resort Ranakpur Hill Resort is Situated near the famous Ranakpur Jain Temple. It is Located amongst the unspoiled nature surrounded by the Aravali Hills Range and offers a commanding View of the mountains and its rugged rock-strewn countryside.
7 to 9 Udaipur Hotel Mahendra Prakash Enter through the gates of Mahendra Prakash into an oasis of Rajasthani tradition, culture, safety and comfort. Situated on Lake Palace Road overlooking the Sajan Niwas Gardens.
